Infopoint is the digital signage product used to display Thomson Reuters information
on a large display screen in Thomson Reuters or public spaces with high volumes
of foot traffic such as corporate lobbies. The service carries headlines, story
text and photos from different categories as well as financial information and displays
local time and weather for the geographical location in which the screen is located.
Clients are able to post custom announcements on the screen.
Infopoint is managed by a third party vendor specializing in digital signage, Wireless
Ronin Technologies. They have created a template to display the information on screen.
Wireless Ronin takes in all of the information updates and transmits to each screen.

Politics, and Health.
Five news stories in each of the five categories are displayed. These are the top
5 stories in each category as selected by our editorial staff around the world.
The Infopoint service checks for news stories every 10 minutes. Any new stories
are picked up every 10 minutes.
Yes, it is possible to change the categories at your site if you wish. See list
above.
No. To provide a cost-effective and turnkey system, Reuters only offers the standard
or enhanced template design.
We carry most global indices. The standard package is to show the most relevant
local and international indices. The screen displays three at a time.
We highly recommend using the standard screen provided by Thomson Reuters, as it
allows us to provide a consistent experience and a high level of support. However,
we can use existing screens if the screen size is at least 40 inches and the screen
resolution is at least 1360x768.
This varies by location, but typically 3-4 weeks.

It is designed specifically for public spaces. It requires no sound, and information
is displayed in a format that makes it easy to digest at a glance. Rather than just
displaying a TV show that is difficult to understand without sound, we provide a
complete view of world events.
